Fitsum started her career in dentistry in 2001 as a Dental Nurse. She then went on to pursue a career in Dental Hygiene/Therapy graduating from the London’s Eastman Dental Hospital in 2006. Alongside her Dental Hygiene/Therapy Diploma, Fitsum also achieved a Post Graduate Diploma in Dental Public Health from Manchester University.
Over the years, Fitsum has developed a passion for promoting excellent oral health care and finds it rewarding to see patients who have improved dental health. She also has a keen interest on the link between dental disease and general health.
Fitsum has over the years developed the skills to provide dental hygiene treatment to anxious patients and young children in a calming and relaxing manner.
Away from Dentistry, Fitsum is a proud mother of three boys, enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis and participating in yoga classes.
